The LN bathrooms were <b>closed to all but \u201cpatrons\u201d<\/b> in March 2018.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">The <b>CACH<\/b>, <b>run by Assistant City Manager Susie O\u2019Hara<\/b>,<b> ignored<\/b> the issue, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">CACH <b>met at LN &amp; scheduled months of future meetings<\/b> there, a slap at homeless. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">At <b>Drew Glover\u2019s<\/b> regular agenda meeting 9-6, neither he nor <b>Councilmember Krohn<\/b> took action to require the reopening by agreeing to require a future agenda item on 9-10.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">Police Chief \u00a0Mills, Parks and Rec boss Elliot, and City Manager Bernal<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\"> are rushing to Council Tuesday (7:30 PM 9-10) to shut down the Main Beach &amp; continue bathroom closure there at night.\u00a0 Their staff report includes no documentation for this closure. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><i><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">Conscience and Action<\/span><\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">, <b>Food Not Bombs, HUFF, the California Homeless Union, and Give a Shit! <\/b><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">volunteers directly opened Louden Nelson bathrooms recently in direct actions that they intend to repeat until the city\u2019s potty pinchers get the message.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">As with last spring\u2019s <b>Depot Park plan<\/b>, there has been <b>no community outreach<\/b>.\u00a0 <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">The proposal supports the agenda of right-wing activist <b>Lynn Renshaw<\/b> whose letter in the Sunday Sentinel seemed to indicate advance knowledge of the proposal.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">The Mills\/Elliot Bernal staff report has <b>zero specific documentation<\/b> for this closure. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">No hearing before the Parks and Recreation Commission<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">\u2014the normal procedure.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">No hearing before the new homeless CACH Commission.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\">Vice-Mayor Justin Cummings<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;\"> is a fan of the CACH Commission and \u201cmore data\u201d (i.e. staff, city, and county buy-in) when it comes to transitional encampments, bathroom closure, and police harassment of homeless.\u00a0 On this homeless removal issue to be fair and consistent, he <b>must vote to postpone unless and until data are available<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt;
