now there are two of them, partially city supported near Coral \nStreet&#8217;s &#8220;Housing Mutters&#8221; and in the Benchlands.<\/li><li><strong>Expanded Police\n Powers:&nbsp; <\/strong>Reining\n in &#8220;emergency&#8221; powers seized by Bernal, Mills, and\n City Department Heads.&nbsp; Anticipating and preempting the return of the \nMills\/Condotti Police Powers 8-point Repression program as well as the \n&#8220;improved&#8221; Camping Ordinance slithering its way through the CACH \ncommittee.<br>\n<strong><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Report on Local\n Motel Room Stats for the Vulnerable:&nbsp; <\/strong>No\n new word from Mayor &#8220;NoJustice&#8221;\n Justin Cummings (other than &#8220;tell it to the County workers&#8221;),&nbsp; county \nworker Jessica Scheider, and other local Project Roomkey fund fondlers.<br>\n<strong><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Resuming Direct\n Action Protests: <\/strong>Corporate\n and conservative &#8220;Lift the Shelter in Place\n &amp; Open the Public Beaches&#8221; protesters are slated to be at Cowell&#8217;s \nBeach 3-5 PM on Friday May 22nd.&nbsp;&nbsp; HUFFsters might consider a \nsocially-distanced picket line or honk in outside the residences of City\n and County officials to demand immediate action to occupy\n and open Motel rooms for vulnerable folks outside.&nbsp; <br>\n<strong><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Prep for Any\n 5-26 Council Meeting &#8220;Action&#8221; &nbsp; <\/strong>Who\n knows what wonders are likely\n to be lurking on the agenda (out by Friday the 22nd) and posted \non-line?&nbsp;&nbsp;
