HUFF plans a shorter meeting 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the SubRosa Courtyard next to the Bike Church on January 20, 2024 with a 2:30 convoy to the Mental Health Advisory Board to talk sanity on the toxic effect of police sweeps on those outside

++++   A shorter meeting than usual is planned because SubRosa worker Jacine is ill with COVID; Robert and Gloria may also be affected.   

++++   Likely meeting in the courtyard outside: be prepared for cool weather.  

++++   The meeting will be interrupted at 2:30 p.m. with a convoy of activists to the Mental Health Advisory Board [MHAB]at Emeline St. which begins at 3 p.m. to demand the Board consider and respond to the toxic effects of police raids (“sweeps”) on unhoused encampments who have no other shelter choices.  

++++  Other HUFF concerns for the MHAB: forced drugging, functional Reiss protections, out-of-county removals to facilitate forced incarceration and drugging; inadequate services; statistics on all these issues.
