Yesterday the County Board of Supervisors, responding to Take Back Santa Cruz-orchestrated hysteria, dived a bit further into fantasyland to placate the paranoia-pushers. Instead of looking at real harm reduction action around the Drug War (like inhalation and injection rooms for those using hard drugs) and the obvious (more Needle Exchange, sharps containers, drug rehab funding), they played pattycake with the TBSC Cube-ists (TBSC was co-founded by Analicia Cube).
