Redding Website for Homeless Rights on the California Bill of Rights and Fairness Act

NOTE BY NORSE:  Activists may already be aware of AB 5, Assemblyman Tom Ammiano’s Homeless Bill of Rights.  Here it is briefly mentioned, but I am forwarding this Redding posting, because it also gives the blog site for some homeless activists up there.  I’d like to see all the homeless activists in California (and elsewhere) in touch with each other and supporting each other.  So if you have a blog or site in your city, please forward its address to us here at HUFF.

Many California cities like Redding, criminalize homelessness, giving tickets for camping (sleeping) and sitting, often taking their necessary survival gear (tents, sleeping bags ) telling them to leave town and violate them for what you and I may very well take for granted…  everyday living and life-sustaining activitiesPlease take the time to fight for our less fortunate brothers and sisters and the American concept that the nation founded on the principle that all men are created equal will not tolerate practices and laws that unfairly single out homeless people and criminalize them for everyday living and life-sustaining activities.
