HUFF  activists will be tabling at the Santa Cruz Police Department National Night Out Open House at 3:30 PM Tuesday August 2nd.  The event will be held in the Community Room and is open to the public.  Go and check out the current state of SCPD “Reform” 

Police and their City Council backers have made few if any significant  reforms since the Black Lives Matter marches of 2020.  Transparency, accountability, demilitarization, ending racial and class discrimination, are all on the HUFF  agenda.

SANTA CRUZ SHITTY COUNCIL still refuses to fund or even permit independent low-barrier agreement or transitional camps, nor to fund FNB  or the Footbridge Services Program.

Call 575-770-3377  or 431-7766 to volunteer for the SC Homeless Union   desperately in need of new blood with the time, passion, and resources to organize!  Not to mention leadership to relieve the badly overburdened folks in charge.  Especially important with the City Manager’s avowed threat to disperse the Benchlands camp this summer and City Council’s failure to use the $14.5 million to set up survival campgrounds and support those that exist!
