Weekly predictions: More phony ceasefire as U.S. and Israel ignore the Iranian redlines while rearming. Continued Iranian blockage of the Gulf of Hormuz, intensifying war threats, bullying, and bombing by the U.S. and Israeli government. Unavoidable famine becomes increasingly likely overseas (and scarcity at home) in the weeks ahead due to the US regime’s desire to appear “victorious”. Escalating Israeli massacres in Gaza and Lebanon as U.S. troops remain in the Middle East–the real news not the Trump or mainstream media pronouncements. Some antiwar protests mark the weekend in Santa Cruz If you start or hear of one, let me know.
Reported continued lockout of the unhoused community from Coral Street’s “Funding Matters” bathrooms, water, trash disposal, phone charging,—now reserved for clients only. Similarly with the London Nelson bathrooms. See also “In Response to “Housing Matters” Service Cut-Off on April 1st” at https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2026/04/06/18885442.php .
